The AEA N28 is a compact active stereo ribbon microphone consisting of two matched bidirectional (or figure-of-8) ribbon transducers in a fixed Blumlein configuration. The N28 offers an effortless way to capture natural stereo, providing an authentic representation of a performance in its environment. Use with any preamp, on any source
The N28 operates on standard 48V Phantom Power. This extra gain means you can choose a preamp based on sound, not gain or input impedance. From your desktop USB Interface all the way to boutique preamps, the N28’s active circuitry ensures you will get a good signal from even the quietest sources. With an all-new impedance buffer amp topology and 1:89 Lehle transformer, the N28 does an excellent job at preventing noise interference on longer cable runs or when operating near lighting rigs.
