The KU5A Windscreen is a custom designed foam windscreen that slips over the KU5A ribbon microphone, allowing you to use it up close on vocals without the need for an unwieldy pop filter as well as in outdoor settings protecting it from direct blasts of wind. It was modeled with a transparent sound so the tonality of your mics is relatively unchanged. With the KU5A Windscreen, many bands are able to play outdoor festivals without worrying about their ribbons.
