We’re thrilled to share that AEA took home two TEC Awards at the 41st Annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards on January 22nd in Anaheim. The Nuvo N28 Compact Stereo Ribbon Microphone won in the Microphones – Recording category, and the TDI Duo Dual Phantom-Powered Direct Box was honored in the Production Essentials category.

After years of nominations, these are our first TEC Award victories—a moment that means a great deal to everyone at AEA.
The TEC Awards are among the most respected honors in pro audio and music technology, recognizing the innovations and individuals shaping sound across recordings, live performance, film, television, and gaming. To be recognized alongside so many incredible companies and products is humbling.
The ribbon microphone community is small and close-knit, and we’re grateful for the support we’ve received over the years. We were especially touched that our friend John Jennings from Royer Labs accepted the awards on our behalf.
Thank you to The NAMM Foundation, the TEC Awards voters, and everyone who has championed our work. We couldn’t do this without you.
