Introducing the AEA N28 Active Stereo Ribbon Mic
The AEA N28 is an active stereo ribbon mic featuring a Blumlein configuration with two matched bidirectional ribbon transducers, giving you a rich, natural stereo sound. Distinguishing itself from other AEA Stereo Ribbon Mics, the N28 is compact, maneuverable, and easy to use, making it ideal for a wide range of applications without the need for a multi-mic setup. While similar to the AEA R88A, the N28 has a more mid-forward frequency response with a faster attack.

Meet the AEA 1029 Stereo VCA Compressor
Next up, we’ve got the 1029 Stereo VCA Compressor, AEA’s first compressor. From subtle smoothing to brickwall limiting, the AEA 1029 provides ultra-clean compression that you have to hear to believe. Utilizing a proprietary discrete op-amp design by Fred Forssell, the 1029 is a versatile compressor with a clear and balanced sound perfect for taming vocals or smashing drum overheads. Designed to pair well with our TRP and RPQ series preamps, the 1029 Stereo VCA compressor is perfect for recording and/or mixing stereo microphones.
